The splinter in your eye.

While I was driving my daughter home last night, I said some mean and sarcastic things about other drivers. I was also sarcastic and mean about the behavior of some of the kids at the library event.  I said Things I wouldn't accept from my daughter or anyone else. Then I got home and continued to be a jerk.

I easily criticized other drivers and behavior, but I didn't see my own issue. My wife tried to point it out to me, but I had none of it, I was fine.  Matthew 7:4 popped into my head this morning.  So I prayed and asked the Lord to help me take the beam from my own eye and not worry about all the splinters I perceive.

  1. ah, one of man's (and woman's) biggest struggles, so you are NOT alone.

Love the stick figure dude and light bulb drawing! And I haven't heard your songs, so I am hopeful that you'll hum for me soon....
